Open headers don't sound good at all and will give you a headache riding them from the noise. Get some proformance mufflers. Sound way better and the bike will run better with back pressure.

what air filters did you get to clear that damn center metal tube, ive gone through 4 sets of filters and none of them will fit even when smashed up a bit

Do you remember what you bumped your jets up to? I have a 84 with 115 main and 35 pilot. Just added pods and need more fuel.

In a few months after I save up for my build I’m starting with engine rebuild and get the chassis powdercoated with a semi-metallic silver. It’s in rough shape from previous owner having chained to a tree in New Orleans. Been like that since the hurricane so I know I’m in for a treat lol. Water rusted up the inside haha. But man, this is such a nice bike. Hopefully soon there will be another coming up. (Mine-91 Honda nighthawk)

Hello can i ask what jets and pods you used?

Do you know how to jet the carbs for the air pods? I am working on a cb650 1984 and can't get it to fire with the air pods on my carbs. My buddy said I need to jet the carbs. What are your thoughts?

I had a 1983 Honda CB650 Nighthawk & rode it on mountain roads at my limit. Foot pegs were beveled off on the ends. Good handling bike. Then I got a ticket for 90 in a 50. Flat out mine went 112. I wanted the new CBR900 RR but that bike might have killed me. I still ride but I'm old & slow today.

Is that a board the cam is mounted to lol?
